Watching 2 movies back to back is probably not so much of a bigger deal of some, but for me it was my first. And that too with a combination of a Hollywood Action packed multi-billion budget and a small budget mystery thriller Bollywood flick. I am highly happy to announce that both the movies were brilliant and total paisa vasool 🙂

The first one, Fast and Furious 7, as like the other movies is FAST and extremely FURIOUS! Along with the original ensemble cast comprising of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster, Tyrese Gibson,Chris Bridges, Kurt Russell, the most bad-ass addition was Jason Statham. He is literally like the hot badass Chuck Norris in the movie, who appears out of nowhere to make the life of our fast team miserable with the sexiest cars and guns ever! The movie like always, say No MERCY to the most amazing and fastest cars around the globe. For all the car enthusiast, you know better now than to feel bad for the inhumane way movies destroy cars (destroy is truly an understatement), this time they killed around 250 of them.
Dominic, Brian, Letty, Roman and Tej are approached by Frank to acquire a device called ‘God’s Eye’ designed by a hacker, Ramsey . This is a backdrop for the real confrontation – Deckard Shaw (Statham) who seeks revenge from Dominic for the death of his younger brother. From the US to Azerbaijan, then Dubai and back to LA, the fight is, indeed, both fast and furious. The plot of this film is just an excuse for some of the best car chase/action scenes recently seen on screen. You get a taste of what’s to come in the beginning, when Shaw and Dom, much like two testosterone-fuelled bulls, ram their cars into each other head-on. No one backs away; no one bats an eyelid. Some of the stunt scenes are just BANG ON; “Air drop” scenes where 5 cars are dropped from sky, you just don’t breathe for the entire 5 mins; the scene with Brian jumps off a bus off a cliff, you don’t breathe for another 2 mins; the fight scene where Dominic and Shaw fight, another 3 mins; In-short you are short of breathes for most of the movie!
It seemed that after the death of Paul Walker in 2013, James Wan would have discontinued the movie. But not only he completed the most furious and fast movie among all, he rightfully and very sentimentally paid a brilliant tribute to Paul, who was one of the souls of the movie franchise. The scene where Dominic says its never a goodbye, and entire life with Brian flashes in his mind, with “See you again” playing in the background, I felt a teardrop running down my cheeks.
If you haven’t seen the movie, you are a minority, and if you have, you know what I am talking about 🙂
