Unbroken is based on the life of Louis Zamperini, an Olympic athlete who joined the armed forces during the second world war. Zamperini survived in a raft for 47 days after his bomber was downed in World War II. He was captured by the Japanese navy after a plane crash in the Pacific. Unbroken depicts bravery and and triumph of Zamperini during his capture in Japanese war camp.
There is an excellent conversation between young Zamperini and his brother which is referred in entire movie as Zamperini’s thought which gives me strength to survive.
A moment of pain, is worth a lifetime of glory.
